Vianode is an advanced battery materials company providing sustainable anode graphite solutions for the battery and EV value chains in North America and Europe. Vianode’s breakthrough solution enables tailored high-performance synthetic anode graphite and holistic sustainability offering a 90% reduction in CO2 footprint. Vianode operates the world's most sustainable full-scale anode graphite plant for batteries at Herøya Norway.

Vianode’s long-term ambition is to supply advanced battery materials to 3 million EVs per year by 2030. Vianode is owned by the world-leading financial company Altor.

Our first industrial plant for the production of anode graphite has been opened in Herøya, Norway since 2024. The next phase will involve construction of a large-scale plant in Ontario, Canada.

Senior Business Analyst

As Senior Business Analyst, you will work closely with the COO and play a key role in connecting Operations, Finance, and Commercial functions across Vianode. You will support strategic initiatives, business analysis, investor-related activities, and cross-functional projects while ensuring alignment and effective execution across the organization. This is a highly visible role offering broad exposure to senior management and key business processes in a rapidly growing industrial company.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support the COO in driving strategic priorities, key initiatives, and business-critical deliverables across the organization.

• Act as a central coordination point between Operations, Finance, Commercial, and other business functions, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration.

• Prepare high-quality decision-making material, business analyses, presentations, and management reports.

• Support investor relations activities and project finance processes in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

• Monitor and follow up on strategic initiatives, ensuring progress, accountability, and timely execution.

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects and improvement initiatives involving multiple business units.

• Facilitate communication and information flow between senior management and operational teams.

• Contribute to business performance analysis and identify opportunities for operational and commercial improvements.

Core qualifications and requirements:

• Master’s degree in industrial economics, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Relevant experience from business analysis, management consulting, corporate strategy, operations, project management, or similar roles.

• Experience working closely with senior management and supporting strategic decision-making.

• Strong understanding of business processes, finance, operations, and commercial drivers.

• Experience from manufacturing, industrial, energy, or other capital-intensive industries is an advantage.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. Norwegian language skills are considered a plus.

Location- the position can be based in Oslo, Herøya (Porsgrunn), or Kristiansand, depending on the candidate's profile and business needs.
