About the Position:
The Key Account Manager, Americas focuses on nurturing and growing strategic customer accounts, ensuring long-term relationships and seamless program execution. Passionate about sustainability and EV growth, this role plays a pivotal part in Vianode’s ongoing partnerships with key OEMs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Strategic Accounts: Cultivate deep, long-term relationships with assigned key customers, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with their strategic goals.
- Account Growth: Work closely with customers to understand their evolving needs, offering solutions and services to support their goals and grow Vianode’s presence within their portfolio.
- Program Management: Oversee and manage program lifecycles, ensuring timely delivery, cost optimization, and smooth program launches that meet customer expectations.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as the primary liaison between the customer and Vianode, facilitating communication, handling inquiries, and proactively solving issues.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams across regions (product, engineering, manufacturing) to align resources and support customer-specific projects and strategic objectives.
- Commercial Negotiations: Handle pricing discussions and ensure contracts are maintained in a way that benefits both the customer and Vianode.
- Market Insight: Stay informed on market trends and customer strategies to anticipate future needs and develop proactive solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous (MBA).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in account management, program management, or customer relationship management, with a strong focus on maintaining and growing OEM accounts.
- Preferred experience in battery or electrification industries.
- Proven experience working with major automotive OEMs.
- Ability to present complex proposals, negotiate terms, and influence decision-making processes.
- Strong understanding of OEM production environments and ability to align Vianode’s offerings with customer requirements.
