About the Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to be responsible for Vianode Canada indirect procurement, ensuring adherence to procurement processes and achieving cost efficiencies. The Procurement Manager will report to the headquarter and collaborate closely with the global procurement team and the local Canadian team.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and establish contracts, including frame agreements with indirect suppliers and service providers.
- Oversee the entire process from sourcing to payment, maintaining contractual obligations and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- While based in Canada, the role will support Vianode's global operations, ensuring procurement processes are standardized and optimized across all locations.
- Depending on the candidate's background and experience, there may be opportunities to participate in major projects.
Required Experience, Certifications, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 5 to 10 years of experience in an industrial environment
- Proven expertise in negotiating commercial and legal terms, drafting frame agreements and contracts, with a solid understanding of contract standards and Canadian regulations
- Exceptional commercial acumen, analytical abilities, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to adding value and supporting Vianode's growth ambitions
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, demonstrating personal initiative, responsibility, and a proactive approach
- International experience is a plus
Location: Intially Remote (home office). Will required to be on-site when office is available.
