We are looking for a Financial Controller to strengthen our Finance department located in Skøyen, Oslo. You will have a central function in the company’s accounting and controlling team with a real opportunity to make a meaningful impact. The position reports to the accounting manager.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitor the cost and cash flow development of Vianode AS and its group companies through reconciliations and analysis.
• Assist in month- and year-end closings.
• Provide monthly budget follow-ups with department and project managers.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and ad-hoc reports.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and the Norwegian Accounting Act.
• Support the development and documentation of financial processes and routines.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to apply their accounting or auditing expertise in a dynamic environment. We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

• Higher education within accounting or finance, preferably within auditing and accounting (MRR).
• Minimum 4 years of experience from auditing, accounting, or financial controlling.
• Interest for and strong skills in Excel and ERP-systems.
• Knowledge of and experience from working with IFRS. Strong interest for IFRS can compensate for lack of practical experience.
• Experience with consolidated financial statements is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Anaplan or similar reporting and consolidation tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and communication skills are requirements for the position
